Chronic Fatigue Control

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) has only recently been accepted as a medical condition. While conventional medicine has acknowledged only limited results in treating CFS, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners are proving that the illness can be successfully treated by taking a multidisciplined approach specific to the needs of each individual patient.Acupuncture has treated CFS successfully for two main reasons: acupuncture can stimulate the points which relate to autoimmunity and all the meridians (energy channels) in the body. This helps to rebuild the immune system and to produce more ATP because immune system use 60 percent of the body energy storage compound called ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which manufactures protein to make immune antibodies. Secondly, acupuncture can strengthen and simultaneously desensitize, normalize and regulate the immune system. This is especially important for people with allergies because they have compromised immune system which both are weak as well as hyperactive.    Herbal therapy is used to strengthen immune response.
